MEET MGMILLER MUSIC STUDIO
THIS IS MY STORY
I have been a professional musician and educator all of my adult life and I never tire of finding new ways to help my students progress in their skills and understanding of the musical arts. It has been my privilege to work with children through adults throughout my 40+ year career.
I have degrees in music education, music therapy, and church music, as well as a performance certificate in organ and certifications in the music pedagogies of Orff Schulwerk, Kodaly, and Dalcroze Eurhythmics. In addition to teaching piano lessons, I taught for 26 years as a public school elementary music teacher. I have served as a church musician and children's and youth choral director since 1981, and directed a community youth chorus for 16 years. I enjoy new challenges and most recently delved into teaching preschool music classes.
I am hoping you will find working with me to be instructive, but also a lot of fun.
